In life we are either governed by our own goals or by someone else’s. Reaching those goals either empowers us, or it empowers the person who made the goals for us. It is as simple as that. When we choose goals that are positive, light-filled, generous, kind, loving, dedicated, consistent and passionate — well then those goals empower our lives in a very fundamental way. Apply these words to your health and your relationships and life will get better.
Conversely, when we choose goals that are completely selfish, sloppy, low-minded, uncaring, mean, angry, not dedicated, and negative — then our goals dis-empower our lives — or at least make the lives others miserable. And somewhere int he middle of course we find that if we make no goals at all and simply let the wind carry us wherever it blows — then we often find ourselves in a state of discontentment. Apply these negative aspects to your life and you will find your health and relationships suffer. We know this inherently. It’s not rocket science. Its ingrained in each and every one of us.
Set empowering goals for yourself that make your life worthy of the gift that life is. Set goals that give your day, your exercise routine, your eating routine, yoru relationships and everything else an outstanding response to life. Follow your inspirations — those things that truly move your spirit in a wonderful and postive way. Listen to your yearnings to be better and to make this world better — those yearnings are there, you just have to listen.
