Regarding my previous post below, “Getting Ripped Abs”, I didn’t really focus on the “how to”, but more about the fact that diet is crucial to exposing the abdominal six pack. There are numerous articles and programs to attain this shrink wrapped look. One of the leading programs for exposing and developing those cut abdominal muscles has a marketing video that goes ahead and gives out a lot of good basic information for getting there -even if you don’t dive in the program all the way. (see shrink wrap ad below).
If you do decide to go ahead and make the leap, please know that it does help support our site if you decide to hit the buy button — and I won’t lie, that is appreciated greatly. But the author of this incredible abdominal program, “Rusty Moore” is one of the industry leaders on this subject, and his knowledge base and information is absolutely fantastic. This guy walks the talk, and he’s helped so many people transform their midsections into something truly impressive.
Other than that, there’s literally hundreds of programs available (you can look at any search engine), but I find a lot of six pack ab programs focus too much on a short-term solution to exposing those abs. Rustry’s program focuses on how to maintain that ripped look. That is truly the toughest thing in the world, when your body has grown accustomed to keeping a layer of fat on you midsection. As he notes, you have to give things time for your skin to shrink back into place against the muscle.
I know first hand. I came in second in a national bodybuilding and fitness competition in which thousands entered. If my abs had been a little more ripped, I would maybe have made first. But sadly, I had kind of peaked a couple of weeks before my final shots were judged and I just found it next to impossible to keep that low level of body fat for more than a couple of weeks. I craved carbs so intensely and yet even though I deprived myself though it all, I still somehow managed to have a skin covering that didn’t suck down into the crevasses of my ab muscles. Well, Mr. Moore’s program will show you how to do — what I failed to do. He’s got a methodical approach that will get your abs ready for the beach. I guess that is why I chose to put his ads on MuscleUpLeanDown to begin with.
The other program you’ve heard about and if you have everyone who has stuck with the program has literally given in rave reviews. Of course, I’m talking about P90X — which is also available to the right, and yes if you use our link we will appreciate because again it helps support our site — somehow the bills have to be attended to. But I endorse his program because again, it shaves away all the myths a baloney. But whatever abdominal sculpting program you choose remember that for the man or woman that tends to have fat on the midsection it is a little more complicated than just simply dieting.
You’ve heard people say, “this isn’t rocket science”, well, actually it is science though, and the body’s metabolic mechanism obeys certain internal and external cues. If we know how to trigger the internal processes that make that skin shrink fit to the muscle then we can make our goal to achieve that sculptured look a reality. So it’s up to you, but if you want to get right to the meat of the issue, I suggest you at least click one of the four ads below and view the marketing video. There’s just some fantastic information contained there, and like I said — even if you don’t go for the program, you’ll learn some things that may be of help to you. On the other hand if you want to take a further gander at P90X, the proof is already in the pudding there.
I’m sure when Michelangelo sculpted the famed marble statue of the David, he knew that his model’s abdominal muscles would be the fulcrum that drew the eye up to those broad muscular shoulders. We know that “muscled up and leanen down” look is the image that the Greeks, the Romans, and all the great artists of the centuries after wanted to convey to the masses. That is a fact, and they did it because nothing looks nice than a truly fit, lean muscular frame on either man or woman.
It’s a new year and we should all commit to attaining that incredible look — it we don’t have it already. And for those that do, congratulations to you! You can be proud! Cheers.
